Fact about flexibility

Flexibility is not just about the elasticity of muscles.

It also about the range of motion of your joints….one way to increase the range of motion of joints is to do light exercises. we also call it mobility. It is very important to  mobilize your shoulders and hips before any workout.

Flex with Four : make sure you incorporate these in your warm up stretches

  1. Neck: looks sideways, up and down and draw semi circles
  2. Rotating the shoulders in both directions
  3. Stretching the hips by holding the lunge position (with the back knee resting on the floor)
  4. Raise the knee to 90 degrees or rest the toe and lift the heel (if you can’t maintain balance with the knee at 90) draw small circles with your knees on the front wall)
