Creating unstable environment (Part2) : Planks

The Plank is one my favourite and one of the most effective exercises to tone the body as a whole, irrespective of the experience level. The Pictures show that beginners start by resting the knees down and once they can hold the correct posture for more than 90 seconds, they can graduate to lifting their knees.

Strengthens the arms, the core.

Similarly the side plank has two levels. The balance pad creates an unstable environment and forces the core to work more to stabilize your supporting arm.
